Anne Tilghman’s Work:
There is a hint of bliss in Anne Tilghman’s paintings. Yet they are as solid and ordered as plants that are growing; as specific and real as vegetation with its inner plan.
When I saw her new work recently, I found it startling and beautiful. I was very affected by her colors and the way she applies the paint. There was knowledge and a quality of robust tenderness.
